USC Classes

Glad to be back at USC teaching 513/514b, graduate screenwriting classes in the School of Cinematic Arts’ Writing Division. They’re actually one combined class that meets twice a week for a total of six hours. It’s a bootcamp for our new grads that takes them through format, visual story-telling, ideation, lots of scenes and exercises, then some short scripts, and finally, what I like to call a “shotgun script” — a feature they write start to finish in about 8 weeks, including outlines.  Looking forward to seeing what this new group can do.
